Optimisation
of rail network capacity requires asking many questions and finding appropriate solutions to all of them. How many trains can be on the move simultaneously? How to make the timetable convenient for customers while keeping their journeys as short as possible? How to maximise the capacity of a rail network without sacrificing safety? From preliminary planning to first departures, Movares Polska provides the technical and engineering reports, analyses, and assessments necessary to find the most effective solutions.
Minimizing the negative impact of public transport on the environment is an important aspect of everything we do. We make sure that all electrical equipment complies with electromagnetic compatibility requirements. When designing bridges, we make sure that passing trains will not make more noise than on other parts of the railway line. When constructing tunnels, even in unstable terrain, we make sure that our solutions minimise adverse environmental effects. We participate in every stage of the project, discussing our ideas with all parties involved. It is also within our interest to co-operate with state, regional, and local authorities, working together in the interest of the network's end users, trying to find the best possible approach to environmental protection.
Safety is our most important concern; safety understood not only as an issue concerning train passengers, but also those who want to feel comfortable and secure at train stations. We also ensure that appropriate measures are taken while transporting dangerous materials in urban areas. In our work we try to consider everyone who comes into contact with the rail network, from those who live nearby, travellers, and employees, to the drivers at railway crossings. Only after all the necessary safety tests have been conducted and an Independent Safety Assessment carried out do we proceed further.
